Before the first "Third Thursday Concert" at the Hegeler Carus Mansion, come early and make your own flower crown with locally grown flowers from Nettle Creek Lavender Farm! Vittoria Wurl will lead the class and teach participants renewed massage and brushing techniques that will give your heads some love. Following that, participants will create and decorate a beautiful flower crown to wear.

Vittoria is a local Destination Hairstylist traveling near and far, focusing on holistic hair and scalp T(HAIR)apy. We welcome anyone with a scalp & all hair types too! No one left behind!

Third Thursday Concerts: Every third Thursday from May-September the Hegeler Carus Mansion presents the Third Thursday Concert Series. Enjoy live music, food trucks, 50/50 raffles, mansion fun facts, and more.

It's tea time at the Mansion and you are in need of a new hat! On June 7th, join us for a Hat Making Workshop in the Open Court Editorial Office of the Hegeler Carus Mansion! Trained milliner and Chicago-based costume designer Sarah will show participants how to create and wear a fascinator, or hat, like one ladies would wear to tea parties. The class will practice millinery skills such as making a rosette out of ribbon as well as trimming/curling feathers for decoration.
